Make Your Own Bath Soak

Since we discontinued our Bath Soak, we thought we’d let you in on how to make your own version of our bath soak at home. Relax and refresh with Onsight Care’s natural lavender bath soak. Take a little time for yourself to let go of the worries and stresses of the day and ease sore muscle pains.

The base of our bath soak is Epsom salts, which isn’t really a salt, but comes from magnesium sulfate which is amazing for soothing aching muscles and body pains.

Dead Sea salts are our favorite! The ancient sea salt contains minerals to revive and heal skin, as well as muscles.

Himalayan salt is mined from the Himalayan mountains and believed to be one of the purest forms of salt. It helps draw out toxins from skin leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Lavender petals are underappreciated for all they do! They naturally calm and heal. The aroma alone relaxes, yet the medicinal value from the lavender helps heal skin irritations and relieve stress and anxiety from your body. They really are the one herb that does it all for your body. If we had to choose only one herb to have, this would be it!

What you need:

1 cup Epsom Salt

½ cup Himalayan Salt

½ cup Dead Sea Salt

¼ cup Lavender Petals

Your choice of essential oils (optional)

Step 1:

Combine all salts together, if you don’t have all these salts feel free to substitute with more or less of the salts you have available.

Step 2:

Add lavender petals or whichever flower petals you have (make sure they are pesticide free). We also love Calendula and Rose petals for healthy skin and body.

Step 3:

Add your choice of essential oils. We recommend adding your favorites to help you relax. We love grounding oils like lavender, frankincense, patchouli, and ylang ylang.

Step 4:

Mix thoroughly! And store in a sealable container in a cool, dry place!

(We excluded soapberries powder since not everyone has those at home, but if you happen to have soapberries at home, feel free to add a ¼ cup in.)

It’s that easy! Simply all that’s left to do is enjoy! Use 3-5 TBSP per bath and soak for 20-30 minutes to reap the full benefits of salts and herbs.
